New Season starts July 1st, 2011 and ends on June 30th, 2012. Here are some changes.

Starting with jackpots:

Any Royal Flush (Two hole cards) - $200 Bar Tab
Any Royal Flush (One hole card) - $100 Bar Tab

Straight Flush (Two hole cards) - $50 Bar Tab
Straight Flush (One hole card) - $25 Bar Tab

Prize will be rewarded at the place where it was hit.

Bad Beat Jackpot

We will add a "Bad Beat Jackpot" into the mix, worth a $200 Bar Tab .

This is how it works:
The bad beat consists of a Full House (Aces full of 2's or better), beaten by four of a kind or better.
(Both hole cards in each players’ hands must play.)

The payout will be as follows:

75% to the second best hand
25% to the winning hand

- QUATERLY TOP 50 -

Starting July 1st, we will run a seasonal (quarterly) league:  Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.
Every 3 months we will have a Top 50 Points Leaders Tournament. Players will have to grind points for 3 months, and place in the Top 50, for the seasonal Top 50 Tournaments. The top 5 will not only advance to our Main Event Tournament, but will also be rewarded as follows:

1st Place	NOTEBOOK - 15.6" Notebook computer. (Subject to availability)
2nd Place	NETBOOK - 10.1" Netbook computer. (Subject to availability)
3rd Place	NEXTBOOK - 7" Android E-Reader Tablet. (Subject to availability)
4th Place	DIGITAL CAMERA (Subject to availability)
5th Place	WALKMAN 4GB VIDEO MP3 PLAYER (Subject to availability)

There will be NO ALTERNATE PLAYERS. Player must finish in Top 5 to advance to the MAIN EVENT!
There will be 2 PAT Tournaments every month. Winners of the PAT’s will also advance to our Main Event Tournament.
And finally, there will also be up to 6 Special Promotion Tournaments during the year, where the winners will also advance to our Main Event Tournament (excluding the Heads Up Tournaments).

Jackpots will remain as they are (including Bad Beat Jackpots, Gift Card Jackpots, and FPP’s.)
As we move forward in the year, we will inform you of the prizes which will be awarded at our Main Event Tournament.
Just keep your bags packed and at the ready… someone will fly to Vegas baby!

*Starting Fall season, there will be no alternate players for
Quarterly top 50 tournaments. This event will be exclusively for top 50 points leaders for each Quaterly season.

- P.A.T. -

Player Appreciation Tournament...the name says it all! This is our way of showing our appreciation to our loyal members.
This is a double-shootout tournament open to 30 players on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will be on the day
of the event at each specific location, two hours prior to the start of the event. The top two finishers will win gift
certificates for that location, but the winner will also earn a seat in the Main Event as well as the seat to our NEW HEADS UP CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH.
We will offer two PATs each month at different locations.

- HEADS UP CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -

The top 2 players from every seasonal tournament (Top 50) will advance to the Heads Up Championship at the end of the 4 seasons.
There will be 32 players in the heads up playoff matches; 8 players advancing from the 4 seasonal Top 50 Tournaments and 24 winners from the PAT Tournaments.
You can look under the “Heads Up Championship” page for the player bracket and lineup.  Seasonal winners and 2nd places, including PAT Tournament winners, have been randomly positioned around the board.

Here’s the best part; any player can win as many places on the bracket as he/she can. For example, if you win a few PAT’s and place 1st or 2nd at any seasonal tournaments, you will have more chances to play heads up, reserving more places within the player brackets.
There will be a special reward of a $200 bar tab at any Miami Poker Stars location for players that place his/her name on the bracket at all 4 groups: Rockets, Cowboys, Hammers and Ducks, as seen on the bracket page.

Top 4 players in the heads up finals will be rewarded as follows:

CHAMPION	Vegas package -Trip to Las Vegas for one person, Airfare and Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights plus $1000 buy in at tournament of winner choice.
2nd Place	Buy in into any local tournament of winner's choice up to a $200 entry fee.
3rd Place	Buy in into any local tournament of winner's choice up to a $100 entry fee.
4th Place	Buy in into any local tournament of winner's choice up to a $100 entry fee.

Blind levels in the first 2 rounds will increase every 10 minutes. Starting the 3rd round through to the championship, blind levels will increase every 15 minutes.
If you end up “shadowing” yourself in a bracket, you will automatically advance to the next round.

- MAIN EVENT -

The pot of gold at the end of our rainbow! The Main Event is the Holy Grail of our season; it is the elusive goal of every
one of our players. A deep-stack, no-limit holdem tournament offered once a year at the end of the season, the Main Event promises to be more fun, exciting and rewarding than ever!
In new season, Miami Poker Stars will be awarding Vegas package which include: round-trip airfare, hotel accomodations and a major event buy-in. This is your chance to shine in the limelight and play against world-class competition. To qualify for this event, a player has to finish in the top five in any quaterly Top 50 tournament or win any
of the numerous PATs.
Also, there will be up to 6 promotions during the year which will give players other ways to earn a seat in the
Main Event.

Here are ways to earn a seat for our Main Event:
1. Finish in the top 5 at a quaterly Top 50 Tournament.
2. Win the PAT Tournament.
3. Win any of the promotions.
